Other names typically used in the scene for similar glasses are snifter and brandy balloon.The Perfect Serve Nosing Glass is more elegant than the classic brandy balloon. The longer stem allows the user to hold the glass without warming the liquid with one’s hand. The broad tulip shape creates a large liquid surface in the glass, allowing increased aeration which enables the powerful aromas to unfold perfectly. Through the tapering of the bowl, these are focussed toward the nose.This glass is recommended for pure degustation of alcoholic beverages with a full-bodied, powerful flavour. This includes cask-aged spirits as well as fortified wines with a dense flavour.
