After a successful design project with Parsons School for Design in 2007, Nachtmann continues to expand on their relationship with widely-known and respected design schools.
These collaborations with design communities will only further Nachtmann’s goal of continuing to create modern classics in crystal.
In 2010, Nachtmann initiated a design competition with New York’s PRATT Institute lead by product designer Stefanie Kubank.
Pratt Institue is one of the most renowned intitutes for architecture and deisgned in the US.
The Pratt design student, Catherine Merrick – a successful and emerging designer, won a competition and created a new line for Nachtmann called Quartz..
Quartz sand is one of the basic raw materials for producing crystal glass.
The sparkling surface of its crystalline structure was the inspiration for Catherine Merrick for her new design.
The brilliant lead crystal and the extraordinary pattern of the bowl have a wonderful and sparkling light refraction and create magic moments in every ambiance.

What more can one say... it has a massive range of goods, picked up some dinner sets here great pricing. Totally would suggest here before anywhere else... good parking and good social distancing. Good job Victoria's Basement.
Big range of Kitchenware, Came in today to get some baking trays and a strainer for the kitchen, im generally here for anything kitchen related like my kitchen scales, kitchen knives, knife stones, blade straighteners, chopping boards, tea strainers and more. The range is pretty comprehensive, So its easy to find something you actually need but werent necessarily searching for at the time. Many years ago i purchased my chef knives from here and i still use thing till this day.
One of the finest places for your kitchen. You don't find cheap stuff but whatever is kept there is of really good quality. In short, value for money.
This place has heaps of stuff. If you enjoy cooking, setting up your kitchen and dining area then this place is really nice
