Obento Tempura Batter Mix has a light and crispy texture that is the key for making an authentic Japanese Tempura.
It can be used to create a nice coating for prawns and vegetables.
Tempura is a Japanese dish consisting of pieces of vegetables and seafood that have been deep fired in a light batter.
The batter is prepared using cold water which gives it a light texture.
When preparing the batter do not over mix as it will become tough and chewy when deep fried.
Small Lumps are common in the mixture and give a crunchy texture when fried.
Ingredients:
Wheat Flour, Corn Startch, Baking Powder, Salt, Flavour Enhancer (E621), White Pepper Powder.
CONTAINS: Gluten.

Big range of Kitchenware, Came in today to get some baking trays and a strainer for the kitchen, im generally here for anything kitchen related like my kitchen scales, kitchen knives, knife stones, blade straighteners, chopping boards, tea strainers and more. The range is pretty comprehensive, So its easy to find something you actually need but werent necessarily searching for at the time. Many years ago i purchased my chef knives from here and i still use thing till this day.
One of the finest places for your kitchen. You don't find cheap stuff but whatever is kept there is of really good quality. In short, value for money.
