RIEDEL introduced the Boa decanter in 2013 to commemorate the Year of the Snake.

As with the brand’s previous snake decanters, the Boa uses “double-decanting” technology to accelerate the aeration of wine.

For the Boa, decanter designer Maximilian J. Riedel took inspiration from his travels throughout North and South America, the native home of the boa constrictor. The Boa features a tightly-coiled body and sits at an elegant 35cm tall, making it a striking addition to any table.This piece is produced with clear crystal.This decanter is designed to hold a single bottle of wine.

Our master glassmakers individually craft each item so every piece has a unique character. Due to the nature of crafting, small tolerances in the size and weight of each product, tiny bubbles, imperfections, or slight surface variations are an acceptable part of the process.
